Pop superstar Adam Lambert returned to the stage of Fox’s American Idol to perform his new single “Never Close Our Eyes” last night. The 30-year-old singer-songwriter rose to prominence while appearing on the eighth season of the music competition program, during which he was ultimately voted runner up.
